Georgia Roadrunner Game Scores

After seven lead changes in Monday's game at Aviation Field, DeMarini Roadrunners finally pulled out a 11-6 win over East Cobb Prospects winning the 6-4-3 18U Memorial Day Tournament. 

DeMarini Roadrunners took the lead in the tenth inning and held on for the victory. DeMarini Roadrunners scored on a three-run double by Seth Beer off Hunt, scoring Tarez Miller, Alec Wilson and Buck Carter. Brandt Stallings boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 5-5 day at the plate to pace DeMarini Roadrunners. Stallings tripled in the second inning and singled in the fourth, seventh, ninth, and tenth innings.

Kamren Barnes got the win in relief for DeMarini Roadrunners. Barnes pitched 3 2/3 innings and allowed one run.

DeMarini Roadrunners jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the second. After Beer singled, Stallings tripled, bringing home Justin Dutka. The scoreboard lit up again for DeMarini Roadrunners when Stallings scored on a sacrifice fly by Barnes.

East Cobb Prospects put up one run in each of the second, third, fourth, and seventh. In the second, East Cobb Prospects scored on an RBI single by Waterbee, scoring Norris.

After posting one run in the fourth, East Cobb Prospects again scored one in the seventh. In the fourth, East Cobb Prospects scored on an RBI single by Coy, bringing home #0.

Hampton McConnell went 2-3, helping the Roadrunners to a 6-4 victory over the Sandy Plains Wildcats on Sunday at East Cobb to win the Championship Game of Triple Crown's Battle of the South. McConnell singled in the third and fifth innings.


Roadrunners drop Columbus Sharks 8-4 behind Beer's early double sparking a five first-inning outburst that built an early lead that helped bring home an 8-4 win over the Columbus Sharks on Sunday in the Cincy Flames - Championship Game.


Christopher Cullen went 2-4, helping GA Roadrunners 15U to a 6-5 victory over Nelson Baseball School on Sunday at American Legion winning the Triple Crown 16U Georgia State Championship.

The Roadrunners came back from a one run defecit in the bottom of the 7th inning when Justin Dutka singled to left field, followed by a walks by Byrd and Tarez Miller.  With the bases loaded and a 1-1 count, Chris Cullen delivered a walk off single up the middle to score both Dutka and Byrd.
